Osaka Castle (saka-j) was once the greatest and most important fortress in the country.

It was built in 1586 by well-known Japanese warrior and flesh presser Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The current structure, built in 1931, remains faithful to the original, despite numerous instances of destruction and reconstruction since.

The primary tower, which is 42 meters tall and has five stories, is one of the go to’s highlights.
