WABetaInfo says that the messaging service is working on a multi-account feature for its Android app that would allow you to switch between different profiles on the same device.
The feature appears to work similarly to Instagram, a rival app owned by Meta. It displays current accounts and offers the option to create new ones in a pop-up at the bottom of the app.
You can log out at any time, and any new accounts you create will be saved on your device. Multi-account support may be useful if you want to test out recent.

You can broadcast to followers by sending them polls and photos with this upgrade. In the future, WhatsApp intends to make money off of this feature for producers.
WhatsApp seems to be working on a username option, similar to how you can find people without their phone numbers on Instagram or Twitter.
