When Does Government medical care Cover Medical care Administrations Abroad?

There are just four circumstances when Unique Government medical care and Federal medical care Benefit plans pay for Federal health care covered wellbeing administrations outside the U.S:

In the United States, you have a medical emergency; Your condition needs to be treated at a hospital in another country.

You are experiencing a medical emergency in Canada while traveling unnecessarily quickly between Alaska and another U.S. state, and a Canadian hospital is more convenient than the closest U.S. facility that can treat your condition.

You live in the United States, but a foreign hospital that can treat your emergency or non-emergency medical condition is closer to your home than the closest American hospital.

းIf you have Medicare Part B, you can get medical care on a cruise while the ship is in U.S. territorial waters, docked at a U.S. port, or six hours after arriving at or leaving a U.S. port.
