Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage.

In the event that an accident causes death or serious injury, an AD&D policy will pay a lump sum to your surviving beneficiaries or to you in the event that you sustain an injury.

The protection generally offers three sections, giving inclusion to mishaps and fatalities:
Insurance for flight accidents: occurring when a licensed commercial airliner is flying.

Transporter common: Coming about because of public transportation, for example, train, ship or transport travel.

General journeys: Taking place at any time during a trip.
Overdose and sickness-related deaths are possible exclusions.

In addition, only certain injuries, such as those involving the hand, foot, limb, or eyesight, may be covered. There are expressed sum limits per injury.
