Any occurrence that an insurance policy does not specifically exclude is covered by all-risks coverage.

In comparison to any named risks coverage, all-risks coverage, also known as all-perils coverage, provides much more comprehensive protection.

Named risks coverage only covers events that are specifically covered by the policy.

Any occurrence that an insurance policy does not specifically exclude is covered by all-risks coverage.

Because named risks coverage only covers incidents that are specifically covered by the policy, all-risks coverage provides much greater protection than any named risks coverage.

However, due to the numerous exclusions found in all insurance policies, the phrase “all-risks coverage” is somewhat misleading.
