Alternative Insurance for Dangerous.

Activities Some travel and sports insurance companies offer Adventure Activities Coverage to adventure travelers and fans of extreme sports.

This insurance doesn’t cover things like lost luggage, canceled flights, and medical emergencies like other travel insurance does.

Adventure activities insurance was designed with the needs of people who have more extreme hobbies or lifestyles in mind.

It frequently takes the form of an exclusion waiver because even some of the best travel insurance plans do not cover risky sports and adventurous activities.

Scuba diving is one risky activity that, depending on the participants’ level of education and experience, can sometimes avoid exclusion.

More specifically, some insurers offer plans that cover scuba divers who are members of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

(PADI) or the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) without requiring an additional rider or paying for it.

In most other adventure sports, an additional rider would cost extra.
