Doesn’t Cover According to the Insurance Information Institute, you won’t be covered for the following:

Undocumented income that is not listed on your business’s financial records Utilities Pandemics, viruses, or communicable diseases (such as COVID-19) .

Special Considerations for Business Interruption Insurance Note that the insurer is only obligated to pay if the insured actually sustained a loss as a result of the interruption.

Broken items resulting from a covered event or loss (such as glass) Flood or earthquake damage, which is covered by a separate policy.

The sum that will be recovered by the business won’t surpass the breaking point expressed in the strategy.

Pandemics and Business Interruption Insurance It should come as no surprise that during the COVID-19 outbreak and the ensuing business closures and curtailments, particular attention has been paid to what business interruption insurance covers and does not cover.

The response, sadly, is that generally strategy holders won’t be covered.
