After Tom Sizemore’s brain aneurysm earlier this month, his manager stated that his family is “deciding end of life matters.”
Sizemore, 61, is best known for his roles in Natural Born Killers, Black Hawk Down, and Saving Private Ryan.
He was also addicted to drugs and incarcerated for domestic violence.
US media was informed by Charles Lago: Today, doctors informed his family that there is no longer any hope and have recommended making a decision regarding his end of life.”
“Added he: A further statement will be released on Wednesday, as the family is currently making decisions regarding the end of life.
“During this trying time, we are asking for his family’s privacy. They would like to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers.” For them, this has been a trying time.”
Sizemore rose to prominence in the 1990s and appeared alongside Tom Hanks as Sergeant Horvath in the 1998 Oscar-winning film Saving Private Ryan.
True Romance, Pearl Harbor, and other films were among his others. His role as a mobster in the 1999 television movie Witness Protection earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
He wrote in his autobiography about his heroin and crystal meth addictions, which came with fame and money.
He was arrested in 1997 on suspicion of assaulting his wife, Maeve Quinlan, an actress and tennis player. Two years later, they split up.
He was given a six-month prison term in 2003 for stomping on his girlfriend, the former “Hollywood madam” Heidi Fleiss, and was required to complete anger management and rehab.
He has recently appeared in Netflix’s smash hit Cobra Kai as a guest star and played a recurring role in the 2017 revival of David Lynch’s cult television show Twin Peaks.
On February 18, he suffered a brain aneurysm.
