The singer left several responses under other people’s Instagram posts, apparently confirming her co-producer Benny Blanco. “Fact,” she captioned a post about her rumored relationship with Blanco.
“He is everything in my heart,” she added in another post she shared with Blanco on one of her pages.
Gomez and Blanco have collaborated before, notably in the music video for 2018’s “I Can’t Get Enough,” where they were both featured.
However, some fans speculate that Blanco may have indirectly criticized Gomez after working with her ex, Justin Bieber.
This speculation stems from a 2020 interview in which Blanco expressed disdain for “cookie-cutter pop artists” launching makeup lines, coincidentally around the same time Gomez introduced Rare Beauty.
In response to public scrutiny after making their relationship Instagram official (dubbed Selenny or Belena), one fan dismissed the union, suggesting Blanco had thrown shade at Gomez years ago.
Gomez playfully acknowledged the comment, asserting that despite any past comments, Blanco remains superior to anyone she has been with.
Defending Blanco further, Gomez praised him for treating her “better than any human being on this planet.” She hinted at a lasting connection by mentioning they’ve been together for six months.
This revelation sparks curiosity, as it implies Gomez might have had a boyfriend when she released a single about being single. Nonetheless, their relationship appears to be thriving.
Following her active comment session, Gomez shared an Instagram Story featuring her leaning on an individual with a beard, whose face remains hidden. However, the distinctive bracelet visible strongly resembles one seen on Blanco’s Instagram.
A subsequent selfie from Gomez adds to the evidence, diminishing the hopes of Selenators speculating that her account might have been hacked. Additionally, she casually disclosed that her next album is set to release in two months.
